Watching funny videos online is a great way to pass the time and you might find some strange or entertaining clips You can share them with friends, or post them on your Facebook profile It acts as a chain reaction, the people who watch it, send it on to others and soon it becomes popular. Online videos are easily accessible, so whether you want a break from some work, or after a few games of Partypoker, you can search for almost anything on your mind and something is sure to appear. Video sites such as Youtube, allows the public to upload videos of all varieties to share with the world. If your video is good enough, soon it could end up with thousands of hits and become known worldwide.
Youtube has recently started having TV shows available on their site. Programmes including Channel 4 and 4OD, have allowed their shows to be accessed through Youtube. You can watch anything from comedy shows to cooking programmes.
Sometimes, news stories are formed from Youtube clips, if it is shocking or funny enough. For example, the clip of a man running across a road at a phenomenal speed, just dodging a truck which could not break in time, made it to the news.
However, some people might disagree with online video sites such as Youtube, because it could encourage people to perform dangerous acts, just for it to be recorded and uploaded.
Television shows, such as Animals Do The Funniest Things, offer a more light hearted approach to home videos. These are normally accidents of unfortunate things happening to pets and their owners. It is entetaining to watch because no real harm has been done.
